To begin open the START_HERE folder on the desktop, then click on the 'Upgrade_Klikit-Linux' icon.

The wizard will launch, with the first option preselected, you just have to click on OK to start the Upgrade.

The wizard starts with some extra instructions. To continue click OK

The upgrade-manager will be launched, click on the 'Upgrade' button
|
To continue click on Upgrade
|
The system is prepared for the Upgrade
|
|
Click on 'Close' to continue.
At the end the Klikit Wizard will restore most of these resources
|
Click on 'Remove'
|
Click on the 'Start Upgrade' button.
Once you click on this button the installation will start and can not be cancelled.

Upgrading the system

When you get to this stage, just press enter to continue
|
Whenever you get this kind of message, click on 'Keep'
|
|
Click on 'Remove' to continue
|
IMPORTANT: when you get at this part click on 'Restart Now' and NOT on 'Close'
|
Once your system reboots, and you Login, you will notice that some graphics have been changed. Once we complete the second part they will be restored.

|
Open the START_HERE folder, and RE-RUN the same 'Upgrade_Klikit-Linux' wizard, to be able to complete the second part of the upgrade.
|
When the upgrade-manager re-launches just close it to continue.
|
At this stage press y and enter to continue
|
|
The Upgrade is complete ... Press 'OK'
Reboot your system.
|
After reboot everything is upgraded and all the graphis have been restored. You will just have to do some minor clean up to the Launch Menu.

The system is upgraded to the Latest Kernel and newest KDE.
